Zong enhances its customers’ data protection through Symantec’s first class backup appliances and software solutions
Wednesday, December 31 - 2014 @ 12:30 noon: Zong, the digital partner of the nation, announced that it has selected Symantec Netbackup Appliances and Software solution to enhance its customers’ data protection. Being One of the largest Telecom operator in Pakistan, Zong was looking for a robust, unified and scalable solution to deal with data expansion challenges and at the same time to achieve stringent RTO and RPOs.
Zong has been pioneering the transition to modern technological services and is the first and only operator in Pakistan to offer 4G services. The company holds more than 100 terabytes of business information, across 200+ servers over 3 data centers.
